SERVE HIM WITH YOUR LIFE.

But the end and culmination of all things has now come near; keep sound minded and self-restrained and alert therefore for [the practice of] prayer (1 Peter 4:7 AMP).

Many people live as though this world is all there is. Life on earth is short. Whether you’re a politician, an entrepreneur, civil servant, whoever you are, and whatever activities you’re involved in, the end of all things is at hand. Therefore, live purposefully; serve God with your life. Live for His glory. Refuse to allow anything take your attention away from Him.

There’s so much wickedness and lawlessness, a superfluity of waywardness, in today’s world. As a result, the love of many has gone cold. Many aren’t as passionate and fervent for the Lord as they should: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold” (Matthew 24:12). Don’t let that happen to you. Remain excited about Jesus. Be excited about the Holy Spirit, about the Word of God, and about going to Church. Be excited to praise Him, irrespective of the challenges you might be facing, and the difficulties in today’s world. Be fervent in soul winning.

The Bible says he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved (Read Matthew 10:22). To “endure” means to go through certain difficulties and yet not give up. No wonder Paul said, “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24). He’s saying, “Come what may, I’m going to keep serving the Lord, fulfilling His ministry and calling for my life!”

Live for the Lord. The Bible says “And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again” (2 Corinthians 5:15). Let your love and commitment to Him be revealed in the way you talk, the things you do, and in your character. Love Him with all your heart, and express it lavishly by doing His Word.

CONFESSION
Precious Jesus, you’re the Lord of my life, and I live for your glory. You’ve made me a light to my world; therefore, I shine ever so brightly, leading others to righteousness. You’re my life and my joy; in you I live, and move, and have my being. You’re the glory of my life, and I love you with all my heart!

FURTHER STUDY:
Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

As A Christian Leader

" Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of Life." Proverbs 4:23)'

As christian, and as a Leader, we have responsibilities to God, and you also have responsibilities to yourself. One of them is your character.
Character is what defines you. It's what others see in you and your way of life: it is an expression of the investment in your personality. Your character is a product of your doing: you are, in essence the making of your own hands. God gave you a life, but what you make out of it is your responsibility.
If you're going to be an excellent person, it's your job; if you're going to be very successful, as an individual, minister and leader of the gospel, it will be from you.
This is because your character is your charge, and it's up to you to refine it using the light of God's Word.
Let the Word determine the character of your life; let Him be the one to judge it. if you have habits, mannerisms or thoughts processes that don't measure up with what the Word prescribe, change them. It's in your hands to change, and you can!
God gave us the ability to take our destinies into our hands, to mold our future, and to determine the level of our success.

It's exciting to know you can be what you choose to be, within the frame work of God's calling.
Remember, Daisy Osborn's wise Words, "Work on Being, Not on Having; for with what you are, you will have."

We are DELIVERERS we do not need DELIVERANCE!!! Praise God.

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s (Obadiah 1:21).
As Christians, we don’t need deliverance from the devil, for we’ve already been delivered: “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:12-13). You might then wonder why Jesus taught the disciples to pray, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil...” (Matthew 6:13).
Jesus gave His disciples and those in the Old Testament this model of prayer because, at the time, the evil one—Satan—still had power over them and God was their succour. So, they had to pray to Him to deliver them from the evil one. But in the New Testament, after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, there’s no place in the Bible that suggests that we should pray about the devil, or ask God’s help against him. Satan and all his demons are under your feet; keep them there.
The most beautiful part isn’t that you’ve been delivered, but that you’ve been made a deliverer. Every Christian is a deliverer. We’re not the ones needing deliverance. We’re the ones giving deliverance. Our opening verse in the New International Version says, “Deliverers will go up on Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will be the LORD’s.”
We’re champions from Zion, anointed with the Holy Ghost and power to heal, bless, deliver and transform lives. We’re the hope of the world! You’re in the earth as an answer to the cry of many, to bring them out of darkness, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me the hope and light of the world, to bring deliverance and righteousness to many! I honour you for the awesome privilege to be a blessing to my world, as I impact many with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Your grace is superabundant upon me today, to be fruitful, productive, and effective in the ministry of reconciliation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Walking In His Perfect Will .

...that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).

There's the good will, the acceptable will, and the perfect will of God. Always, what the Lord desires is for us to walk in His perfect will. The perfect will is God's design for you. That's God's definite will for your life.

A clear evidence of spiritual maturity is the ability to discern and walk in God's perfect will for your life. And this isn't something that's difficult; God's Word expresses His perfect thoughts and opinions, so you can trust the Word. Psalm 119:105 describes the Word as a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path. The Word gives you direction and guidance. So, you need to know God's Word to understand and walk in His perfect will for you.

Praying fervently and consistently in tongues is equally very important in recognizing and walking in God's perfect will. Praying in tongues, amongst its other benefits, conditions your spirit to be attuned and sensitive to the Holy Spirit, making it easier for you to receive direction and guidance in your spirit.

There're people who are into certain jobs and businesses because it's good, yet that's not God's perfect will for them. When you function in His good or acceptable will, you may or may not fulfill your destiny; you may or may not achieve God's purpose for your life. Living in the perfect will of God is living in God's best, because you're in His exact plans and purpose for you at a particular time.

In your life, before you take any major steps or decisions, be sure to find out God's perfect will by spending time in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and meditation on the Word. Don't settle for the good or acceptable will; walk in His perfect will. It's the safest place to be.

PRAYER

I delight in you, O Lord! You make my paths straight and plain. Your Word is within my heart, and I walk circumspectly, in your perfect will at every stage of my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Further Study: || Hebrews 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. ||

|| 1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. ||

|| Colossians 1:9-10 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

As i turn "a year wiser"

As I turn yet another year ‘wiser’ today, I reflect and look not just to my future, but i am giving myself the ability to think deeper into somethings that i consider very important to my generation and to my future.

I meditate on this day, my special day, I think deeply of my country Cameroon, my ancestors and my family who still live there.

I spent my childhood growing up this country, the land of my birth.

My experiences of this country make me whom I am today. It’s interesting for me to understand that of everything my country has been to me, and still is to me, I am only just now realizing how much I have to pray for my country.

Today I dedicate my special day, the day of my birth to my homeland, Cameroon.

I invite all of you to pray with me and to join me to intercede for my country Cameroon.

I currently reside in the United States of America. The importance of this country in my life also, cannot be overlooked. This country cannot be exempt of my prayers. I pray for the United States especially at this time, of great change an uncertainty.

The bible, in 1Timothy 2:1-4 tells us "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty....

This scripture is the Spirit’s admonition through Paul to the Church on the importance of earnest intercession for all men, our countries or domicile and of origin and the leaders therein. The result of such is an overwhelming experience of God’s blessings of peace and prosperity.

Isaiah 1:19 the Bible tells us, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” This is part of what you do in obedience—praying, contending for the hearts of men in your country, and around the world, that His righteousness will be established, and all forms of evil, turmoil, wickedness, and terror, be thwarted.Today, the security and economic situations across our world are of great concern. But the Church holds the solution. The Church is the only restraining power against evil in the earth today (2 Thessalonians 2:7).

Some of us forget the need to pray for their country; instead they complain. This was me in the past, but not now. Not anymore. Please desist from complaining about your country. Don’t be that way! If we don’t stand up and pray together as one, for our country and its leaders, who will. How can we expect to enjoy the good of the land, unless we take responsibility for it and pray that God looks on us ‘with favor’?
Meanwhile, in every nation, the Bible shows that there’s a lot of good in the land.

Psalm 33:5 says, “... the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.”Rise to the challenge and take up the responsibility of prayer. Pray earnestly and fervidly for the nations and leaders of the countries where you live or work, and then the rest of the world. Declare that God’s righteousness prevails, and His glory rests on, and influences, men’s hearts as God’s people boldly proclaim the Gospel. Pray also for ministers, that they be granted more grace to preach the Gospel with boldness and power, that many more souls may be added to the Lord all around the world.

Until the rapture takes place, we, as God’s people, hold the true reins of power in the nations, and have the authority to direct their course through prayer. Please join me as I pray for my countries –

Dear heavenly Father, I pray that your peace, progress and prosperity will reign in the nations of the world, and that you’ll grant the ministers of the Gospel the courage to preach and minister your Word boldly. I pray that the power and influence of their message will kindle your love in the hearts of men. Thank you for the tremendous and glorious transformation of many lives through the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today my heart goes out to the youth of my country Cameroon

We live at a time when we have the largest population ever between the ages of 15 - 30. Well close to 60% of our Country's population is below 30. This is the most educated population taking into consideration literacy levels, accessibility to education, level of education attained and graduation numbers. This is also the most connected generation with access to the Internet, television, and technology, but unfortunately this generation is the most held back.

Our youth are being stifled by a generation that is staying longer in positions of responsibility be it in the private or public sector. This generation is experiencing the largest unemployment levels since independence, and also the experiencing the largest exodus from the country allowing a huge brain drain or loss of human capital. The economy of the country has not expanded rapidly enough to accommodate this generation and government policies are not sophisticated enough to deal with this unprecedented challenges.

This is the state of the young people of Cameroon, this is a highly precarious state for any economy to face and yet very little is being done to understand the complexity of the situation let alone take action to address it.
So fellow Cameroonians, while we often think solutions must come from government, we live at a time when no one government, no one political party, no one NGO or business has the answers. It takes we the people to be part of the solution.

We need to mobilize and activate young people to begin to take action in communities across Cameroon that will lead not only to change but that will create opportunities to learn new skills as well as employment.

We need an informed and empowered youth that have a constructive voice with clear and unambiguous solutions and demands for action.

We need a youth that does not accept simple solutions but understands the complexity of the times in which we live and can patiently work towards implementing sustainable solutions.

Let us join the movement #iamcameroon to create an awareness for our youth.

The #iamcameroon movement is raising funds to put these billboards across the nation. Please support us on this journey by checking out this page

My prayer for our youth

Father God, today we make mention of the youth in this next generation, especially the youth of Cameroon. We pray for an encounter with You, the One who can change everything.

Grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation of insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of You. Open eyes, hearts, and ears as only You can do. May all in this next generation know and understand the calling You’ve placed upon them, the inheritance You’ve given them, and what You, Father, have positioned them for and their purpose in this time and hour.

I pray for those who are wondering whether You care about them, if You know their names, if You heal, what their destinies are, and if they can have an effect on this world. Father, we know that You even caused this wonder. We pray for each person who is wondering about You and pray that connection would be made to You. Bring each one of them a personalized, detailed experience with You. Bring them personalized moments with the Holy Spirit that only You can give. AMEN. Praise be to God.

Yield To The Leading Of The Spirit

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).

One reason some of God's children find themselves in unpalatable situations is that they don't submit to the leading of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads us through the Word. Any counsel you receive that's contrary to what the Word says isn't from the Holy Spirit. Some people pray about something, then an idea comes to them, and they say, "Well, God is leading me to do such-and-such." If you were to ask them, "Why do you believe it's God that's leading you in that direction?" they'd say, "because I prayed about it."

The fact that you prayed about it isn't enough! What did the Lord say to you after you prayed? Did He tell you expressly to go ahead and do whatever it is you think He's leading you to do? Is the idea you got in sync with God's Word? Is it consistent with the scriptures? His Word is His will expressed. In yielding to the Spirit, to be led by Him, you yield to the Lordship, supremacy, and guidance of the Word.

This is why knowing the Word for yourself is absolutely indispensable. It's important to have accurate knowledge of the Word. The more submissive you are to the Lordship of the Word, the more easily the Spirit can lead you, and express Himself through you. His desire is to lead you from glory to glory.

Our theme verse says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the SONS OF GOD" (Romans 8:14). The underlined portion has to do with maturity; it refers to the matured sons of God ("huios": Greek)—those who have come to the place of maturity—they subject themselves to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

To fulfil God's destiny for your life, you must learn to follow the Spirit in the Word, by the Word, and through the Word. Never make a major decision in your life without consulting with Him. And don't be in a hurry when seeking His guidance; be patient until you hear His voice—His words—in your spirit, and never be in conflict with the Scriptures.

CONFESSION

I'm born of the Spirit, and I'm fully yielded to His leading, guidance and control; His truth and wisdom are the forces of my life, propelling me from glory to glory as I walk in the paths prearranged for me by God. I'm fulfilling His perfect will, and living out my destiny in Him, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Further Study: || 1 John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ||

|| John 16:13-15 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. ||

|| Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. ||

GIVE GOD YOUR ATTENTION.

Listen to what I am saying; pay attention to what I am telling you (Isaiah 28:23 GNB).
Some people don’t pay attention to the different activities of the Spirit that happen during the service when they’re in Church. They get carried away such that even though the presence and power of God could be so strong in that environment, their lives are not improved, because
they’re distracted.
Your undivided attention is so vital each time you’re in the presence of the Lord in the Church, and even during your personal devotions. God always has something special for you, a word for you that’ll increase your glory, but you’ve got to pay the right currency—your attention. When you give Him your attention, you get everything He has for you.
God’s Word is God’s answer, and with your attention, you allow its free entrance into your spirit, until it changes your frame of mind, your way of thinking, and influences your words and delivers your inheritance to you. So, in praying to, and worshipping the Lord, always let it be from your spirit, with focus and attention. That way, the Spirit will minister to you, even as you minister to Him.
Give the Lord your attention; give Him your heart; give Him your mind. Let Him minister to you, and through you. Hebrews 10:22 says, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith....” This doesn’t mean to “come close” to God, because you’re already in Him, and He in you. Rather, it refers to turning your attention to Him, making Him your focus. It’s a terminology that refers to a consciousness of your spirit, because we can’t draw any nearer to Him than we already did; we’re one with Him.
Howbeit, our hearts can be far away. That’s why the Bible says, “draw near with a true heart.” So, every opportunity you have to fellowship with the Lord, give Him your full attention, and open your heart to receive all He has for you.

PRAYER
Blessed Lord, I thank you for the blessing of serving you, and worshipping you from my spirit. You’re all that thrills my soul; you’re more than life to me! I love you, precious Holy Spirit, and my whole heart is focused on you even now, to receive your glorious touch, and be transformed in your presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Renewing your mind

The Concept Of Mind Management

After you come to Christ, God gives you new ways of thinking about Him, but you can't think like God except you have the right material to think on, which is His Word. God's Words are His thoughts clothed in vocabulary.

God has shown us that we can influence our thinking in other to become more productive, successful and prosperous. You can manage your mind and bring fourth excellence, greatness, success and prosperity.

This is your responsibility, and God expects you to do it. Romans 12: 1-2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Mind Management refers to the concept of reorganizing or reprogramming your mind (its contents and processes) with God's Word and aligning your thinking, perceptions and mindset about God, other people, the world and yourself, with His Word.

Who you are today is a function of your mind. That means you can work on your mind and change its contents, and that Change will show up in your character and the results you have in life.

Can you manage your mind differently regarding that situation? Can you access your mental hard drive to see what files you need to delete and the new ones you need to download and install? Yes you can, and you should.

Your Mind - A God Given Instrument

Today marks the beginning of our 15 days of Excellence. This is a global program for my church - Believers Love World Nation aka Christ Embassy, using the recently published book of our Man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, "The Power of Your Mind"

I am truly excited about this program because in my journey as a christian i realized change came when i decided to renew my mind. My mind was the main important factor in this journey. I have always lived a good life but then i realized Gods greatest desire for me is that i live a victorious life continually enjoying the blessings He entrusted to us through His son Jesus Christ.

Many of us do not really grasp the fact that God sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we can be free from sin. We live a life conscious of our sin rather than be conscious of Christ.

I realized that one reason i really struggled to live this glorious life was my inability to take over what God had already made available to me. I did not even know that God had made available great things for me. Whenever i had to communicate with God i will spend time asking him to grant me all the things i wanted rather than receive and explore all he has already given me.

As merciful and graceful as God is, He gave me a great instrument to help me take advantage of what he already has made available to me, to come into full possession of all the blessings he has in store for me. This instrument is MY MIND.

God has given us so many gifts - our mouths, which we should use to chart the course of our lives, confess ourselves into salvation to a place where we will enjoy the full benefits.

Paul tells us in Romans 12:2  AMP And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

God gave us our minds for our transformation. Let us put our minds to use.

Imagine if this scripture ended at "And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed ". Then we would have been at a loss for what next to do. But it is stated by renewing our minds. We can renew everything in our lives but there will be no transformation

Today i know i am a transformed woman. I remember my pastor telling me she will transform my life. I assured her i was ready. She went ahead to teach me the things i needed for a renewed mind. Today i am a new person.

Let us take care of our minds. Let us use the gift of the mind for what it was created for.

Remember your mind has the unlimited potential to create whatever you desire. When you put your mind power to work, the possibilities are endless. No restrictions on how high you can propel.

Walk with me on this journey ad together lets transform our lives by being humble to accept that we need to renew our minds and even more humble in accepting help rather than letting pride push you away from what you need the most. Just so you know tis has nothing to do with how many degrees you have or your social status.

Lets exchange ideas and let us take our lives to the next stage of our lives.
